Shift
Shift is a series of wall hangings capturing or reflecting on a significant change. Each piece is created from merino wool and other fibers that have been felted by hand over wooden tondos. Some of the pieces also include hand-stitched embroidery and hand-built ceramic elements.
Awaken

Awaken represents the moment a significant shift occurs. The scale is intentionally unclear: it could be cellular; it could be an egg or an embryo; it could be a change in outer space. It captures a moment of opening to something new.
Inheritance

I have no memories of my dad’s mother, Joan, who passed away when I was young, but I have scans of lovely illustrations she drew, mainly of women, that were found on the property of the family farm. As I take an explorational steps further into my own art practice, I feel a new sense of kinship emerging around both of us as artists.
