Pottery Class
Pottery Class is a series of ceramic characters who are new to creating art.
The characters are intended to mirror my own experience of being new to a particular artistic practice.
Edna and Edith
Edna has just picked up her first completed pottery piece, a black and blue bowl. Her sister Edith has brought her flowers as congratulations. Both sisters are stoneware bud vases with openings at the top of their hats.

Rudy just took his first pottery class and learned how to make a beautiful vase. The vase itself fuses into his stoneware body, revealing a glazed interior functional as a small bud vase.
